Over the long weekend Grandma and Grandpa Mok came to visit. On Sunday we met Auntie Kim and Aaron in Santa Barbara for dinner for Kim's birthday. Then on the Fourth we hit the parade and fireworks in Solvang. Tyler enjoyed waving to all the parade participants, but he especially liked getting the candy that they threw. So much so that he almost darted out in front of some of the cars. Yikes! Later that night we got a premium spot to watch the fireworks. We weren't sure how Tyler was going to like the noise, but from the start he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Grandpa bought him a glow stick and he decided he was going to conduct them with it. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of it since we didn't think they would come out.
